**Job Overview:**

The Six Nations Council is seeking a dedicated Indigenous Community Support Specialist to provide essential services to victims of crime and social tragedies in our communities.

**About the Role:**

As an Indigenous Community Support Specialist, you will work closely with other Indigenous justice staff to deliver wrap-around services, referrals, and supports for Indigenous victims. Your role will involve providing support to individuals experiencing trauma, including physical and sexual assault, car accidents, house fires, homicide, or sudden death of a loved one.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide service intakes and delivery to victims of crime and other social tragedies in Indigenous communities.
  • Collaborate with other Indigenous justice staff to ensure seamless delivery of services and supports.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop personalized support plans.
  • Identify and connect clients with relevant resources, including counseling, advocacy, and emergency assistance.
