Job Title: Asset Protection Representative

Join Loblaw Companies Ltd - Head Office as an Asset Protection Representative and play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Detect, deter, and apprehend theft and fraud within our retail locations
  • Collaborate with other Asset Protection Representatives to investigate provincial or national ORC cases
  • Work closely with local police services to ensure a safe and secure environment
  • Investigate internal investigations, compile evidence, and present findings for court or arbitration
  • Identify potential shrink opportunities within our operational core compliance
  • Build and maintain store partnerships through management meetings and coaching
  • Participate in conducting store-level audits and community events
  • Work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, with a 40-hour work week
  • Commit to promoting a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging
Requirements:
  • Valid Provincial Security Guard License required
  • Basic understanding of the Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act, and Powers of Arrest
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor
  • High degree of initiative and integrity required
