Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Delivery Drivers: Oversee the daily activities of our delivery drivers, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary resources and information to complete their tasks efficiently.
  • Prepare Reports and Recommendations: Prepare regular reports on delivery performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to enhance our logistics operations.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Provide training and coaching to delivery drivers to enhance their skills and knowledge, ensuring they are equipped to handle various situations.
  • Ensure Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a safe working environment for our team members and customers.
  • Coordinate Repairs and Rentals: Coordinate repairs and rentals of equipment and vehicles, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Requisition Materials and Supplies: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, ensuring timely delivery and optimal usage.
Personal Suitability:
  • Organized: Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and maintain a high level of organization.
  • Team Player: Proven ability to work collaboratively with team members, building strong relationships and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Reliability: Demonstrated reliability and dependability, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
Experience:
  • 1 to less than 7 months: Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a logistics or transportation environment.
