We're seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team at Movati Athletic. As a key member of our Facilities team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall aesthetic appeal of our clubs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all building assets are promptly and safely maintained, including electrical, audio, video, pools, plumbing, painting, HVAC, grounds, and maintenance. This will involve delivering and completing routine building maintenance, preventive maintenance, and annual building inspections.

You'll also be responsible for troubleshooting and investigating building operating/fitness system outages, preparing return to service action plans, and obtaining quotes and serving as the point of contact for external contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all building assets are promptly and safely maintained
  • Deliver and complete routine building maintenance, preventive maintenance, and annual building inspections
  • Troubleshoot and investigate building operating/fitness system outages
  • Prepare return to service action plans
  • Obtain quotes and serve as the point of contact for external contractors

Requirements:

  • Community College Certificate as a Class II Building Environmental Systems Operator, licensed trades certificate or equivalent an asset
  • Three (3) years of continuous experience in operation and maintenance of building systems
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical Systems, and BAS
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification and prior knowledge of pool operations preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
