Job Summary

The General Repair Technician III is a key member of our facilities team, responsible for performing maintenance and repair services on non-technical facility components. This role requires a strong understanding of facility operations and maintenance, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and on-demand maintenance and repair services on non-technical facility components
  • Conduct regular facility and facility component inspections to identify potential issues and recommend improvements
  • Respond to service requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair work to ensure the integrity of facility components
  • Record and track maintenance and repair work in our service management database
  • Assist in the implementation of preventative maintenance programs and ensure compliance with corporate and legislated policies
  • Participate in facility-related projects and ensure work is performed in a safe and efficient manner

Requirements

  • High school education
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in facility operations and maintenance
  • Trade-related training an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license
