About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Movati Athletic. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall maintenance of our clubs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine building maintenance, including repairs and preventive maintenance, to ensure the club's facilities are in excellent condition.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of the club's systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and audio-visual equipment, to identify and address any issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with external contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure the club's facilities are always operational.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
  • Community College Certificate as a Class II Building Environmental Systems Operator or equivalent.
  • Three (3) years of continuous experience in operation and maintenance of building systems.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and BAS.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification and prior knowledge of pool operations preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
