Job Description

Mission

• Oversee the operational performance of suppliers in logistics and quality

• Ensure the monitoring and approval of suppliers

• Support the development of suppliers through Supplier Development

Main Activities

• Participate in the evaluation of suppliers during the selection process

• Assess supplier risk and develop monitoring plans, including ramp-up/down phases and new product/dual source implementation

• Analyze supplier logistics and quality performance, quantifying quality (NQC) and logistics (LD) compensation based on measurements and SQF

• Lead the escalation process, piloting activities D4 to D8 of the 8D process for red/black level escalations

• Manage and develop quality standards

• Manage supplier approvals, ensuring quality requirements are met by suppliers and internal SLS Teams

• Support supplier maturity upgrading plans and promote best practices (MRPII, QRQC, 8D, AMDEC, SPC)

• Establish supplier inspection/quality delegations (DPRV)

Job Requirements

Knowledge

• Safran requirements and documentary system, including quality standards

• Supply chain principles and tools, including audits and lean-sigma

• Principles and tools of quality, including audits

Skills

• Cross-functional project management and multidisciplinary team work

• Negotiation and contracts

• Change management

• Good level of written and oral English

• Master intercultural relationships
