About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Moxie's Grill & Bar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including soups, salads, and entrees
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to maintain high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Order and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Organize and execute buffets and banquets to meet customer expectations
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain efficient kitchen operations and meet customer demand
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
