Job Overview

JobContax is seeking a seasoned Senior Civil Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our construction projects in the South East Region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and coordinate all engineering functions to meet project objectives, ensuring seamless collaboration with the construction management team.
  2. Oversee the effective control and flow of technical information required on the project, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
  3. Work closely with the project team to drive the company's Health and Safety standards on site, fostering a culture of safety and well-being.
  4. Integrate and challenge design and technical proposals, utilizing problem-solving skills to achieve optimal solutions that meet project requirements.
  5. Monitor and drive the quality of setting out standards on the project, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  6. Mentor the engineering team on the project, providing guidance and support to help them develop their technical skills and expertise.
Requirements
  1. Relevant Civil Engineering Qualifications, such as a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  2. At least 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in civil engineering and project management.
  3. Previous experience working on Main Contractor infrastructure construction projects, preferably in the Roads, Motorways, and Infrastructure sectors.
  4. Setting out experience is essential, with a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft and BIM software, as well as AutoCAD, is required.
  6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work well within a team to collaborate with others.
Package

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of €65k - €75k, negotiable based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including a vehicle and pension.

This is a full-time permanent staff role with ongoing work in the South East region, offering a stable and secure career path for the right candidate.
