About the Opportunity

As a key member of our team, the Procurement Specialist will be responsible for procurement activities in a centralized service, including inventory management. The successful candidate will assist with supply/service contract management for facilities and agencies, as directed by the Procurement Manager, in accordance with established procurement policies.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of procurement procedures and a keen eye for detail. They will also demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a self-directed environment and as part of an interdisciplinary team.

About You

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong background in procurement and supply chain management. The successful candidate will possess a Grade 12 or equivalent and a two-year post-secondary program in Business or an equivalent field. They will also have a minimum of one year of experience in a related supply chain environment and a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred qualifications include a SCMA Certificate or an acceptable combination of education and experience, as well as a working knowledge of SAP operating system.

We offer a competitive salary range of $27.09 - $30.68 hourly, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, and a defined benefit pension plan.
