We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at STELIA Aerospace North America. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for managing procurement activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
About the RoleThis role involves purchasing goods and services from various suppliers, negotiating contracts, and monitoring inventory levels to meet business needs. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve supply chain efficiency
- Purchase goods and services from suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust procurement plans accordingly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and quality deliverables
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and practices
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Competitive salary range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
