Housing Construction Inspector Job Description

Trinitystar Developments Inc. is seeking a skilled Housing Construction Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our residential buildings meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate safety programs and assist in their implementation
  • Examine plans, drawings, and site layouts to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
  • Inspect construction of buildings and engineering projects to ensure adherence to specifications and codes
  • Provide information and training to employers, employees, and the general public on safety protocols and building codes
  • Ensure electrical and plumbing installations meet government regulations
  • Enforce steel and concrete installation codes
  • Inspect construction of sewer systems and pipelines
  • Ensure safe working conditions are maintained
  • Inspect and provide reports on the condition of new or resale homes
Requirements:
  • College or CEGEP education
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment:

As a Housing Construction Inspector, you will work in various locations, including construction sites and offices. You will be required to travel to different sites and interact with various stakeholders, including contractors, builders, and homeowners.
