Job DescriptionThe Nurse II will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans;
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between services;
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies;
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes;
- Staying current with industry developments, best practices, and evidence-based guidelines to inform practice decisions;
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A registered nursing degree from a recognized institution;
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse in Manitoba;
- One year of equivalent full-time experience in a medical, surgical, outpatient care unit, long-term care, or community setting within the last three years;
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical nursing skills and concepts, as well as effective problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities;
- Familiarity with electronic software programs and basic computer skills;
