Compassionate Caregiver

The Home Care Attendant will be responsible for providing personal care and home support services to clients in their homes. This includes assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.

• Providing personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assisting with daily living activities, such as eating, toileting, and transferring
• Providing emotional support and companionship to clients
• Maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to all relevant policies and procedures

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• A minimum of a Grade 12 education
• A Home Care Attendant Certificate or Health Care Aide Certificate with a community component from a recognized post-secondary institute
• Previous experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
