Teaching Opportunity at the Provincial School for the Deaf

We are seeking a qualified educator to join our team at the British Columbia Provincial School for the Deaf, a Provincial Resource Program overseen by the Burnaby School District. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of deaf and hard of hearing students.

About the Role

This full-time (1.0 FTE), part-time, and occasional position is available starting immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching deaf and hard of hearing students at the K-12 level, with a focus on providing high-quality education and support.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Education Degree or academic equivalent
  • Master's Degree or Diploma in the education of the deaf and hard of hearing or certification by the Canadian Association of Educators of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CAEDHH)
  • Fluency in sign (A.S.L.)
