Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and certified Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at MyHealth Centre.

About the Role

This is a full-time, part-time, and casual position responsible for performing various diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with our clinic manager and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure patient identification, safety, and preparation are correct prior to a scan while maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Greet patients, explain forthcoming tests, position them, and prepare them for examination.
  • Observe patients during diagnostic procedures, making note of any symptoms or changes in vital signs and summon medical aid when necessary.
  • Perform quality control assessments as required and take all reasonable precautions to work in compliance with related policies, health and safety legislation, and best practices.
  • Maintain equipment and instruments in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Prepare and organize reports as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 0-2 years of related experience.
  • CMRTO certification.
  • Current CPR certificate.
  • Vascular, MSK & OB experience is an asset.
  • Able to perform all types of ultrasound procedures on various types of ultrasound equipment.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and training.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is between $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
