Job Summary

The City of Saint John is seeking skilled individuals to fill operational roles in Transportation & Public Works Services.

New employees will ideally possess related post-secondary education and experience in maintenance and construction work, a Class 3 driver's license, and the ability to adapt to new technologies.

Duties will involve a range of labor-intensive and skilled mechanical, maintenance, and construction work under challenging environmental conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of skilled and labor-intensive tasks related to maintenance and construction
  • Operate heavy equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of public infrastructure
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve departmental goals
