About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technologist to join our team at Tanglefoot Veterinary Services Ltd. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our veterinarians in their daily tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze samples for laboratory testing
  • Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures and provide post-operative care
  • Administer medications and vaccines as prescribed by veterinarians
  • Counsel clients on animal health and provide education on proper care and management
  • Perform routine animal dental procedures and assist with animal dentistry
  • Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
  • College diploma or certificate in veterinary technology or a related field
  • Registration with a provincial or territorial association as a Registered Animal Health Technologist or Registered Veterinary Technician
  • Experience in a veterinary setting an asset
