About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technologist to join our team at Tanglefoot Veterinary Services Ltd. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our veterinarians in their daily work.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and process laboratory samples for diagnostic testing
  • Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures and provide post-operative care
  • Administer medications and vaccines as prescribed by veterinarians
  • Counsel clients on animal health care and provide education on preventative care
  • Perform routine animal dental procedures and assist with animal dentistry
  • Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
Requirements
  • Registration as a Registered Animal Health Technologist or Registered Veterinary Technician
  • College diploma or certificate in veterinary technology
  • 1-2 years of experience in a veterinary setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
