Veterinary Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technologist to join our team at Tanglefoot Veterinary Services Ltd.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze samples for laboratory testing
- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including surgery and anesthesia
- Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals
- Counsel clients on animal health care and provide education on animal behavior and nutrition
- Perform routine animal dental procedures and assist veterinarians with animal dentistry
- Administer medications and vaccines under the direction of a veterinarian
- College diploma or certificate in veterinary technology
- Registration with a provincial or territorial association as a Registered Animal Health Technologist or Registered Veterinary Technician
- Experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
