Job Title: Senior Highway Project Manager

About the Role:

  1. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Highway Project Manager to lead complex interdependent technological projects and deliverables.
  2. You will work closely with experienced project managers, software developers, and specialists to drive business/technology transformation and organizational change.
  3. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully making a positive impact in their previous career.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Execution: Plan, coordinate, and oversee the implementation of complex interdependent technological projects and deliverables.
  2. Collaboration and Leadership: Work in collaboration with experienced project managers, software developers, and specialists to drive business/technology transformation and organizational change.
  3. Budget Management: Manage budgets and minimize overhead while providing maximum visibility to all stakeholders.
  4. Project Deliverables: Create project deliverables and define the level of quality, timelines, resources, and budget.
  5. Team Alignment: Recognize key project team members, roles, and organizational structure to ensure team members are aligned and project expectations are defined.
  6. Project Performance Monitoring: Oversee project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to monitor project progress.
  7. Risk Management: Examine project interdependencies, identify project risks, and establish and implement a mitigation plan.
  8. Compliance: Develop project management artifacts while complying with enterprise policies and procedures.
  9. Primary Point of Contact: Be the primary point of contact for a variety of projects.
  10. Leadership and Direction: Provide proactive leadership and direction to junior project managers and delivery teams.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience working as a Release / Project Manager in R&D and/or Enterprise Software Product Development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering or experience in a related field.
  • Experience of minimum 5 years working in change management/risk management / process management.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with enterprise mobility solutions and technical software projects.
  • Experience in agile software development methodology and in-depth understanding of software development and product life cycle.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and JIRA.
  • Experienced in handling large-scale interdependent technological projects, using a variety of tools such as release dashboards, metrics, and pivot tables.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in managing conflicts and working with a cross-functional team.
  • Experience in Scaled Agile Framework will be considered an asset.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
