Head of Marketing Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Marketing to join our team at Aimsio Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, this individual will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a proven track record of driving pipeline generation in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy Development:
- The ideal candidate will formulate and execute marketing strategies aligned with Aimsio's growth objectives, leveraging market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape analysis.
- They will have an experimental mindset, regularly running tests to inform strategic decisions.
- Brand Management:
- This position entails overseeing the implementation of the company's brand strategy, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
- The successful candidate will maintain and enhance the company's brand equity through innovative and cohesive branding efforts.
- Lead Generation:
- Developing effective lead generation strategies to drive qualified leads to the sales team is a critical component of this role.
- The ideal candidate will utilize various channels, including digital marketing, content marketing, and events, to generate high-quality leads.
- Sales Collaboration:
- This position involves working closely with the sales team to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with sales objectives and strategies.

- Product Positioning:
- Developing and articulating product positioning, value propositions, and messaging that resonate with target audiences is essential for success in this role.

- Managing the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact, is a key responsibility of this position.

- Content Creation:
- Writing and overseeing the creation of compelling content for various channels, including the website, ads, emails, and more, is essential for this role.
- The ideal candidate will ensure all content is aligned with the brand voice and marketing objectives.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred. They should have at least 7 years of experience in developing and directing growth/demand generation marketing initiatives.
- A proven track record in a senior marketing leadership role, preferably in a fast-growing B2B environment, is required.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, lead generation, and brand management is essential.
- Hands-on experience in digital channels such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, SEO, SEM, and Display is necessary.
- The ideal candidate has a proven track record of driving and scaling pipeline generation in fast-paced environments.
- Hands-on experience with email marketing both acquisition and lifecycle is beneficial.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, are crucial.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Exceptional leadership capabilities, focusing on team development, scalability, and achieving organizational goals, are necessary.
- Demonstrated success supporting BDR and Sales functions is a plus.
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools and Hubspot is advantageous.
Salary Range:
$120,000 CAD - $150,000 CAD per annum, depending on skillset and experience.
Location:
Aimsio Inc. is a Remote First company, offering flexibility in work arrangements. However, candidates must be legally able to work in Canada. Our primary locations are Calgary, Toronto, and Vancouver, but we welcome applicants from other regions who can commit to occasional travel to these cities for team-building events and meetings.
