Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Division in Halifax. As an Intermediate to Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing design expertise, project management, and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for building projects, including lighting, power, controls, communications, and life safety systems.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Collaborate with the mechanical and electrical engineering team to deliver projects that meet client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Professional Engineer, licensed or eligible for membership with Engineers Nova Scotia.
  • 5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering design, preferably in building systems.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
