As a Corporate Strategy Analyst at Moneris, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and development. You will be responsible for providing analytical support to the Strategy and Corporate Development function, working closely with business leaders and colleagues to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions and drive strategic planning
  • Develop and maintain financial models and board materials to support senior leadership and the executive team
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to define and drive business-level strategic plans and roadmaps
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to inform business decisions
  • Perform financial and data analysis to evaluate market segments, geographies, and products
  • Support product and solution gap analysis and identify opportunities for inorganic market expansion
  • Conduct due diligence on merger and acquisition targets and evaluate investment opportunities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or commerce
  • Master's degree in strategy or finance is an asset
  • 3+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or a similar role
  • Experience in the Payments industry or with a boutique strategy consulting firm is beneficial
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex results to executives
  • Familiarity with financial modeling, complex analysis, and valuation methods
  • Experience with CapitalIQ and TheMarkets/Thomson Reuters is a plus
