Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical/Electrical Facility Condition Assessment professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site visual assessments of building systems, including roofs, envelopes, structures, and mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Review drawings for quantity take-offs and prepare multi-discipline building condition assessments, reserve fund studies, capital planning projects, technical/building audits, or other investigative reports.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of product quality, ensuring technical accuracy, grammar, and adherence to company report formats.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling projects, ensuring timely completion and profitability.
  • Collaborate with clients, providing responsive support during and outside of regular business hours.

Requirements:

  • Certified Building Technologist in Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, Civil/Structural, or Building Science related programs, or graduation from relevant College or University-Level Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, Civil/Structural, or Building Science related programs.
  • Related facility and/or building construction experience (five years or more).
  • A valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle for travel to project sites.
  • Ability to travel for up to a week at a time.
  • Willingness to work at heights, including climbing ladders and accessing rooftops.
