Nurse Care Specialist

At Alberta Health Services, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, utilizing your critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic and integrated care, promoting health and wellness for our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing services to patients, families, and communities, utilizing nursing processes and critical thinking skills.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and integrated care.
- Teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families.
- Play a leadership role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
- If you have not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last five (5) years, completion of the following free courses is required: CRNA Medication Management - Chapters 1 - 4 and the NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification.
Additional Required Qualifications:
- ACLS, ENPEP, PALS, TNCC, ENPC.
- Charge Nurse experience required.
