Job Summary

Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Country Village Homes – Woodslee. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, adhering to established protocols and physician orders.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and conditions, taking appropriate action when necessary.
  • Coordinate and direct care activities to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
  • Support the management of nursing and personal care staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Care to address concerns and develop strategies for improvement.

Requirements

  • Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Registration/eligibility with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario.
  • Previous experience in long-term care, with a strong understanding of duties and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • French language skills an asset, but not required.
