Job Summary:
Watson Clinic is seeking a skilled LPN Specialist or Medical Assistant Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate patient needs through telephone triage and provide appropriate care and support.
- Administer medication, including injections, and document medication given or prescribed by the ordering physician.
- Provide patient and family education on health-related topics and promote healthy behaviors.
- Recognize and respond to emergency situations, such as cardiac arrest or allergic reactions.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality.
- Facilitate the flow of patients to ensure efficient and effective care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Active Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant Certification.
- 1 year of experience in a primary care setting, preferably in a medical health care facility.
- Current BLS certification or completion within 3 months of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience or training in a medical health care facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant.
Additional Information:
The sign-on bonus will be paid in full after passing the probationary period. A one-year commitment is required. This position is open to new employees only.
