Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Angelic Treasures Christian Childcare Centre. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre, ensuring the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist co-workers in housekeeping and cooking duties
  • Maintain daycare equipment
  • Support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote child development
  • Assist in keeping records
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
Requirements:
  • Criminal record check
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
