Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Retail Buyer to join our team at 127 ST. LIQUOR. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing merchandise for resale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study market reports and sales promotion materials to stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Arrange products according to planograms to ensure optimal display and sales.
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices and credit terms.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
  • Review requirements of our establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, considering factors such as quality, price, and availability.
  • Visit trade shows and showrooms to stay informed about new products and trends.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or sales environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
