Job Description

Cannabis Queen, a division of Alberta LTD, is seeking a highly skilled Retail Buyer to join our team. As a Retail Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality merchandise for our retail business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Product Sourcing: Study market reports, trade periodicals, and sales promotion materials to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Supply Chain Management: Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements.
  • Inventory Management: Review requirements of our establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
  • Merchandise Selection: Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring it meets our quality and pricing standards.

Requirements

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a retail environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
