About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Aide to join our team at PAVILLON LAURIER. As a Nurse Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply and empty bed pans, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients with care and attention to their needs.
  • Deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments, maintaining effective communication.
  • Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations, and enemas as required, following established protocols.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, ensuring that our team has the necessary resources to provide excellent care.
  • Bathe, dress, and groom patients with dignity and respect, promoting their overall well-being.
  • Transport patients between care facilities, prioritizing their safety and comfort.
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs, responding promptly and professionally.
  • Collect specimens, following established procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and sterilizing operative areas, adhering to strict protocols.
