Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to provide high-quality patient care in our long-term and acute care facilities in Clarence Creek.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated RPN to work with a variety of patients, earning above-average wages with travel compensation and accommodation. The role involves providing nursing care in accordance with established policies and within the scope of practice of an RPN.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent nursing care to patients, ensuring their physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs are met.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet individual patient needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient delivery of care.
  • Ensure timely and safe resident transfers and discharges.
Requirements
  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Able to work with persons with infectious diseases.
  • BLS Certificate.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR.
  • Proof of current immunizations for MMRV and negative TB skin test within one year, as well as Hepatitis B.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work flexible shift times, including eight-hour or twelve-hour shifts.
  • Must be able to 'float' from unit to unit within a hospital, depending on facility need.
  • Must be reliable to be placed at an agreed-upon facility/unit.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. RhynoCare offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
