Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineering Specialist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with technical data analysis, process improvement, and quality assurance in our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with technical data analysis for process development, deviation, and annual reports
  • Complete tasks related to monitoring/trending and troubleshooting manufacturing processes
  • Assist with troubleshooting and solving problems related to process efficiency, product quality, throughput, and yield
  • Support compilation and analysis of process data, present results, and prepare reports
  • Contribute to process improvement projects
  • Prepare and review technical reports
  • Participate in change management activities
  • Use SAP enterprise software to source information and navigate business operations
  • Support Technical Operations department with process executions
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a post-secondary diploma in Chemistry, Engineering, Science, or related field
  • BSc in Chemistry or Engineering is an asset
  • Previous experience with Pharmaceutical Manufacturing is an asset
  • Previous experience with SAP enterprise software is an asset
  • Previous experience in statistical analysis and data compilation is an asset
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, loud noise, bright lights, fumes, or odour. Use of Personal Protective Equipment is required and may include any of the following: safety glasses, safety shoes, lab coat, gloves, hair net, beard cover, safety apron, respirator.
