About This Role

We are seeking a reliable and caring child care provider to join our team at Thushari Dilhani. As a trusted childcare provider, you will be responsible for the overall well-being and development of children in your care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the children.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks, as well as laundry and ironing duties.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting their physical and emotional growth.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development skills, helping them become confident and capable individuals.
  • Organize engaging activities, such as games and outings, to stimulate children's cognitive and creative abilities.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, meeting the dietary needs of children.
  • Supervise and care for children during school hours and appointments, providing a stable and loving environment.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, offering support and guidance when needed.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the absence of parents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children and families.
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks and meet the needs of children.
  • Reliability and punctuality, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
Work Conditions
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances and unexpected situations.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $35,000-$40,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
