Patient Care Associate

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to join our team at Alberta Inc.
Job SummaryThe Patient Care Assistant will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives.
Responsibilities- Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients safely and with care.
- Deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments efficiently.
- Make beds and maintain patients' rooms to a high standard.
- Supervise patients' exercise routines and provide support as needed.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure they are readily available.
- Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher safely and with care.
- Answer call signals to determine patients' needs and respond promptly.
- Administer first aid in emergency situations, following established protocols.
This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. The successful candidate must be able to lift, bend, and move patients safely.
