UC Medical Clinic - Mill Woods is seeking a skilled Patient Care Assistant to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to provide high-quality patient care in our clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting patients with daily tasks, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and collaborating with our healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Prepare and maintain patients' rooms, including changing linens and cleaning equipment
- Transport patients between care facilities and assist with mobility
- Deliver messages, reports, and specimens between departments
- Answer call signals and respond to patients' needs in a timely manner
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks
