Job Title: Registered Nurse - TFT-2A Neph/Med Inpat

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. As a Registered Nurse on our Medical Inpatient unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality nursing care to patients with complex medical needs, including renal patients.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Use the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Identify and respond to abnormal patient responses, taking appropriate action to ensure patient safety.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Current certification in BCLS.
  • Recent experience in medical nursing, with a focus on renal patient populations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet patient needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification or recent continuing education in medical nursing.
