We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Inpatient team at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to complex patient populations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide quality nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
- Collaborate with Registered Practical Nurses to provide consultative services and support
- Identify and respond to abnormal patient responses and take appropriate action
- Manage multiple nursing interventions simultaneously
- Develop and maintain strong interprofessional relationships with healthcare teams
- Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BCLS)
- Recent experience in medical nursing, with a focus on complex patient populations
- Ability to use the Nursing Process to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Strong communication and interprofessional skills
- Certification or recent continuing education in medical nursing
