About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Junior Graphic Designer to join our team at the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka. As a key member of our Marketing and Communications department, you will be responsible for designing and developing visual materials that align with our brand strategy and messaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop creative concepts and designs for marketing collateral, including digital and print materials
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to understand creative needs and requests
  • Design and produce visual materials, such as brochures, posters, and social media graphics
  • Assist in the development of marketing campaigns and events
  • Provide support for campaign planning and execution
  • Review and edit marketing materials to ensure consistency and quality
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Graphic Design program or undergraduate degree in a related field
  • 1 year of professional graphic design experience, preferably in a corporate or agency setting
  • Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and typography
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
