About the Opportunity:

The YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka is seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our Marketing and Communications team. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing marketing materials that align with our brand guidelines and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop marketing materials, including brochures, posters, and digital assets.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to understand creative needs and requests.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Provide support in the areas of marketing execution, video content, and other marketing activities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Graphic Design program or undergraduate degree in a related field.
  • 1 year of professional Graphic Design experience, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Exceptional understanding of colours, style of type, illustrations, photography, and printing procedures.
  • Knowledge of web, social media, and video applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of important design software, including Adobe Creative Suite.
