About the Opportunity:

This role is an exciting opportunity to join the Marketing and Communications department at the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka as a Junior Graphic Designer. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for creating engaging visual content that aligns with our brand strategy and messaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative concepts and designs for marketing materials, including digital and print collateral.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to understand creative needs and deadlines.
  • Assist in the development of marketing campaigns and materials, ensuring consistency with our brand guidelines.
  • Provide support for campaign planning and execution, including video content and other marketing activities.
  • Review and edit marketing materials to ensure high-quality content and consistent branding.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Graphic Design program or undergraduate degree in a related field.
  • 1 year of professional Graphic Design experience, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Exceptional understanding of design principles, including color theory, typography, and composition.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
