Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Royal Ambassador Event Centre and The Consulate Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our dining rooms and kitchens.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, analyzing data to inform menu planning and inventory management.
- Address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
- Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
- Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, with the ability to lift and move objects as needed.
