Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Royal Ambassador Event Centre and The Consulate Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, service, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and effective service.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, analyzing financial data to inform menu planning and inventory management.
- Address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, using data to inform business decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports, providing insights into sales trends, customer preferences, and operational efficiency.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality and service.
