Job Description:
  • Perform mechanical services to maintain safe and efficient operations of brewery equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair brewery equipment in a fast-paced environment to minimize downtime
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and equipment overhauls
  • Install new equipment as required
  • Maintain all records/documentation and ensure completion of paperwork
  • Diagnose and correct mechanical problems with brewery equipment

Requirements:

  • Must possess Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) License with Certificate of Apprenticeship + Refrigeration B ticket
  • 3+ years of troubleshooting and repairing high-speed packaging equipment as a Licensed Millwright
  • In-depth understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic functions
  • Experienced in safe work practices: confined space entry, lockout/tagout, and hot work
  • Practical experience in basic welding, plumbing, and machining
  • Able to work with limited supervision
  • Highly motivated and possess good interpersonal and communication skills to work in a team environment
  • Basic keyboarding skills and familiar with MS Office package
  • Adhere to the food safety requirements as per job duties and report non-conformities
  • Experience in brewing, liquid filling, beverage, or canning industry an asset
