Job Title: Millwright Licensed

Location: Guelph, ON

Principal Accountabilities:

- Operate motorized vehicles with components used to move or lift products, equipment, or materials within and between destinations (warehouses, storage yards, plant factories, railroad stations, offices, etc.).
- Comply with corporate policies and procedures related to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory (FSQR).
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:

- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work under special conditions, such as extreme heat or cold.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
- Availability to work overtime.
- Flexibility to work holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts.
- Possession of a Millwright License.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Ability to perform physical job duties including bending, stooping, climbing ladders, opening/closing valves, shoveling, using a hammer, and working in confined spaces.
- Comfortable working in elevated areas.
- Experience operating machinery and heavy equipment.
- Forklift certification.
- Basic computer skills.
- Prior experience in production-related work.
- Experience in maintenance trades such as electrical, machining, welding, pipe fitting, fabrication, rigging systems, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, and pumps and piping systems.
- Familiarity with MRO (Maintenance Repair Operations) and MRP (Material Requirement Planning).
- Self-starter with the ability to work effectively and lead within a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of industrial safety, food safety, and environmental regulations, with a strong commitment to safety.
- Strong problem-solving skills with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Maintenance Reliability processes (predictive and preventive maintenance) and predictive technologies.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Training and experience with automation control, boiler, and steam systems.
- Welding certification and/or other trade experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and layout drawings.
