We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team at Southbridge Owen Sound. As an RPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional resident care while adhering to protocols and physician orders.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and conditions of residents, and initiate remedial health measures as needed.
  • Organize and direct functions and activities related to resident care.
  • Assist in the management of nursing and personal care staff.
  • Train and develop new staff, referring concerns to the Director of Care.
Requirements:
  • Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Registration/eligibility with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario.
  • Previous experience in long-term care an asset, with comprehensive knowledge of duties.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks as needed.
  • Excellent communication and comprehension skills.
  • Developed creative problem-solving skills to address complex situations.
