Job Summary:
The Senior Manager Sales is a key leadership role within Scotiabank's Home Financing Solutions team. This position is responsible for leading a team of Home Financing Advisors to achieve established sales targets and meet the overall goals of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Manage a Team: Focus on sales management activities and principles, provide direction, guidance, and support to team members, and foster ongoing relationships between the Bank and referral sources.
- Implement Business Objectives: Define roles, tasks, and expectations, develop and implement marketing strategies, and demonstrate creativity in championing new approaches.
- Provide Direction and Guidance: Recommend new hires, prepare probationary reviews, and provide support to the Regional Director and partners as required.
- Establish and Monitor Goals: Define high standards, negotiate goals and priorities, and monitor results.
- Maintain a Market Profile: Identify key business contacts, meet regularly with these sources, and work with internal and external contacts to develop customer relationships.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading a sales team
- Ability to communicate in English and French
