Job Summary

We're looking for a talented reporter to produce engaging, jargon-free content on retirement benefits, including CPP, OAS, and private pensions. The ideal candidate will have a knack for storytelling, with a focus on the lifestyle aspects of retirement planning, such as where to live and building a meaningful life outside of a career.

Responsibilities

  • Research and write stories on retirement and financial planning topics
  • Pitch original story ideas for multiple platforms
  • Develop expertise on retirement benefits and planning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to brainstorm story ideas and best practices

Requirements

  • At least five years of reporting experience
  • Ability to write for a broad audience on complex financial issues
  • Familiarity with retirement planning calculations or willingness to learn
