Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced reporter to join our investing and personal finance team, covering retirement and financial planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial journalism, with a focus on retirement benefits and long-term planning.

Responsibilities
  • Research and write engaging articles on retirement and financial planning topics
  • Pitch original story ideas for multiple platforms
  • Develop expertise on CPP, OAS, and private pensions
  • Collaborate with colleagues to brainstorm story ideas and best practices
Requirements
  • At least five years of reporting experience
  • Ability to write for a broad audience on complex financial issues
  • Familiarity with calculations used in retirement planning, or willingness to learn
